Glossary XML Converter

Instructions:

1. Select your Excel file with the glossary data (it should contain two columns: Concept and Definition).

2. Optionally, provide a name for your glossary (default is "Glossary").

3. Click the "Convert to Glossary XML" button to generate the XML file.

4. After the conversion, you can download the generated XML file with the same name as the uploaded Excel file.

Default Settings Explained:
  • Intro Format: 1 - This is the default introductory text format.
  • Allow Duplicated Entries: 0 - Duplicated entries are not allowed.
  • Display Format: "dictionary" - Glossary is displayed in dictionary format.
  • Show Special Characters: 1 - Special characters are displayed.
  • Show Alphabet: 1 - Alphabetical navigation is enabled.
  • Show All Entries: 1 - All glossary entries are visible.
  • Allow Comments: 0 - Comments are not allowed.
  • Use Dynamic Linking: 1 - Dynamic linking is enabled for entries.
  • Default Approval: 1 - Entries are approved by default.
  • Global Glossary: 0 - This glossary is not global.
  • Entries Per Page: 10 - The number of entries displayed per page is set to 10.
